I am a Phd student at the Urology Research Laboratory at the University of Bern. I am interested in genetically engineered mice models (GEMMs) of cancer as they can be valuable models to correctly mimic particular mutations that drive tumor formation. Furthermore, GEMMs can be used to study the influence of the tumor microenvironment. Currently, I am working on genetically engineered mouse model of gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST).
