Martina Radic

I obtained my Ph.D. degree at the University of Zagreb (Croatia). My research aimed at understanding resistance to targeted therapy and p53 inactivation in melanoma. I developed and characterized vemurafenib-resistant melanoma cells and studied protein interactions of wild-type p53 in order to better understand the reasons for its inactivation. I am pleased to expand my knowledge in translational cancer biology, especially patient-derived models, by joining the Urology Research Laboratory as a postdoctoral researcher.
