I am a PhD student at the Urology research Laboratory at the University of Bern. During my master’s degree in biochemistry (UniBE), I focused on quantifying metallodrugs in patient-derived cancer cell lines to overcome drug resistance in lung cancer. With these insights in the oncology field, I became more interested in precision medicine, which led me to organoids and their great potential for personalised treatment. I also aim to better understand cancer heterogeneity and related tumor microenvironment to improve patient management.
