Impact of stroma cells on Prostate Cancer Organoids culture

Among themost frequently diagnosed cancers, prostate cancer (PCa) in its advanced form,is the second leading cause of cancer-related death in men. Patient-derivedorganoids (PDOs) have proven to be a promising tool for the development ofpersonalized therapies for PCa as well as in several other types of cancer. Theexistence of a relationship between cancer cells and their microenvironment hasbeen established yet not fully characterized. Hence the importance ofdeveloping PCa PDOs in co-culture with stromal cells.
